Introducing the Faculty at Lancaster Seminary The faculty of Lancaster Theological Seminary is a diverse group of dedicated women and men who are scholars and teachers representing a range of faith traditions. All share a commitment to bring faith and intellect to bear in educating leaders of faith communities and the wider world.
The entire faculty is comprised of resident professors on full-time appointment at the seminary as well as individuals who have full-time appointment in other educational institutions, ministries, or service agencies, who bring their training and expertise to LTS as part-time adjunct faculty. The resident faculty have primary responsibility for the structure, instruction, and implementation of the educational programs of the seminary. Adjunct faculty bring their expertise to instruction.
Additionally, the seminary invites respected pastoral leaders in the region to serve as ministerial guides for our Master of Divinity students. These ministerial guides, along with faculty members, assist students in the process of discerning and shaping lives of faith, ministry, and leadership through programs of vocational and spiritual formation. All Lancaster Seminary faculty are chosen for their expertise in particular disciplines, each enriching the teaching and learning community by offering required and elective courses. |
