The 2013 Justice Summit will be held on January 4-6.  The event will focus on Peacemaking and the History and Culture of Northern Ireland.  Led by youth, young adults and adult mentors who traveled on our Summer Global Experience to the Corrymeela community in Ireland, this retreat seeks to be both a time of learning about issues of justice and a time of reunion for the youth and young adults who have completed our Leadership Academy. 

The Justice Summit includes a time of education for the general public on Saturday January 5 from 9:30-12:30.  This time will include and explanation of the trip to Corrymeela, it's goals and impact as well as a brief overview of "The Troubles" and 3 workshop sessions (each participant will choose from 1 of 3 sessions) which will focus on a particular aspect of either the trip or a social justice issue in which our Leadership Now youth are engaged.  If you are interested in more information about this event, please email Jacquie Church Young at jyoung@lancasterseminary.edu.
