MS 106 Integrative Formation I

In this seminar students begin the discipline of processing and integrating the various aspects of the Master of Divinity Program. Practice, reflection, writing, presentations, and group discussions are the main methods. Students are introduced to three spiritual practices from different traditions and required to engage each of those practices for a three-week period. Ministerial Guides and Faculty Advisors lead each section of students through focused reflection and discussion. Four sections of this seminar are offered each Fall semester.

MS 107 Integrative Formation II

In this seminar students continue the work of integrating the various aspects of the Master of Divinity Program through spiritual practices, reflection, writing, presentations, and discussion. In addition, students research and explore the explicit and implicit expectations for ministry within their denominational context. With this information in hand, the students are more fully equipped to discern the mission of their denomination and their willingness and ability to commit themselves to that mission.
