The Damage of Debt
The burden of crushing student debt causes many to drop out of ministry or never apply or finish seminary.
The Solution
Lancaster Seminary’s unique program offers students financial education, the support of money mentors, training in fundraising skills, and the opportunity to receive up to $5,000 to match funds they raise for their seminary tuition.
Here’s Where You Can Help
When you give a gift to support a student’s education, you help them qualify to receive matching funds from Lancaster Seminary. In some cases, your gift can be doubled up to $5,000.
In addition to raising funds for their education, our students must meet certain milestones to qualify for matching funds: they must attend workshops that focus on the mindset needed to ask for money for God’s work, they must meet regularly with their money mentor and complete classes in finance and budgeting.
How Does the Program Work?
Over the years, students have raised far more than $5,000 per year, allowing them to leave seminary with minimal or no student loan debt! And they take with them critical financial skills useful in their work and their life.
