Experience Ministry Outside the Classroom
Field education, a two-year requirement, offers formative experiences in ministry outside the classroom in locations including churches, hospitals, retirement homes, university campuses, social service agencies, and local urban shelters.
You are led to examine your life skills in pastoral care, preaching, church administration, and social ministries. And you are encouraged to take time for regular self-reflection. You will learn about yourself and be shaped by ministerial experiences, encounters with the people you serve, and the wisdom of a skilled supervisor.
