This event is a celebration of former Lancaster Theological Seminary faculty members the Rev. Dr. Anabel Proffitt and the late Dr. Charles Melchert and their contributions to Wisdom’s Table / St. Peter’s United Church of Christ. A handcrafted bench will be dedicated in their honor on the Lancaster Seminary grounds. The event, sponsored by the former Wisdom’s Table, now combined with Grace United Church of Christ, begins with a service in Santee Chapel on the LTS campus followed by a reception in the Rt. Rev. Dr. Nathan D. Baxter Room, adjacent to the chapel.
