Fall Convocation

Aug 24, 2018 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

All are welcome to join us in Santee Chapel as we begin our 194th term with an academic procession, prayers, hymns, and an address by Deaconess Myka Kennedy Stephens, seminary librarian and assistant professor of theological bibliography. She will present "The Infinite Horizon and Planning Change," a portion of her upcoming book, Integrated Library Planning: A New Model for Strategic and Dynamic Planning, Management, and Assessment. Integrated planning practices are rooted in the concept that to account for change and effectively plan, an organization must work along an infinite planning horizon. President Lytch also will pay tribute to Victor Wright, our housekeeping and maintenance director for nearly 30 years, who is retiring after a devastating stroke. A reception for Vic will follow Convocation. To send Vic a memory or make a gift, click here.

Location: Santee Chapel in the Lark Academic Building
