Rev. Dr. Michael Wilson has been pastor of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church since 2001. He was raised in rural Maryland and has worked in rural, small town, and urban settings. His doctoral research was in the type of leadership necessary for missional transformation, which is one of the reasons he believes that Presbyterian Polity matters! He is interested in supporting emerging leaders for the church as they develop the skills to lead adaptively in days of rapid, discontinuous change.
Rev. Wilson also serves as Associate Stated Clerk for Donegal Presbytery, where he is part of the Leader Team called to guide the group of Presbyterian churches in York, Lancaster, and Chester County.
He is married to Tricia Wilson, a college administrator. They have three children -- Julia, Clint, and Emma.
