Ryan Nick Peterson

Adjunct Instructor: Worship and Preaching

B.A. Franklin & Marshall College, 2002

M.Div., Lancaster Theological Seminary, 2013

Nick Peterson is a 2013 graduate of Lancaster Theological Seminary, where he completed the Masters of Divinity program.  His interest and passion for worship stem back to his early childhood.  Since the age of 12, he has been leading, planning, playing and singing in worship gatherings all across the country and world.  He's an accomplished pianist and organist (Hammond B-3) and plays in a gospel jazz fusion band - Salt n Light.

Of particular note is his interest in black sacred music and Pentecostal worship practices.  While he was raised Pentecostal, he is currently pursuing ordination in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, while serving as the interim minister at the Historic Capital Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg, PA.

Nick is married and lives here in Lancaster with his lovely wife NaKisha.  Nick hopes to continue his studies and will be applying to PhD programs this fall.  He is excited to serve his alma mater in an area he is so passionate about.
