We're teaming with the Evangelical & Reformed Historical Society for our annual Book Sale, which this year will be held during three days because of the large number of books available. Well known for housing one of the best and deepest collections of theological resources in the region, the Seminary hosts a book sale every year to benefit library acquisitions.
The book sale will take place Monday through Wednesday, May 18-20 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the upper level of the Philip Schaff Library on the Lancaster Seminary campus. Free and open to the public.
This year’s sale features thousands of books, including religious and theological works culled from the Society’s and Seminary’s collections, plus donated books of general, secular interest in many categories including history, literature, gardening, self-help, art, science, foreign languages, and even cookbooks.
Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19, paperbacks will be 50-cents apiece and most hardcover books will be $1.00 each. Antiquarian books will be specially priced.
On the last day of the sale, Wednesday, May 20, books will be $1.00 for a bagful, and the antiquarian books will be discounted 50%.
There also will be several bins of free items.
