Meck & Moss Awards Presented for Distinguished Ministry

President Carol Lytch conferred Seminary honors to four Lancaster Seminary graduates during Alumni/ae Day ceremonies May 15.

Recipients of the Robert V. Moss Award for distinguished service in specialized ministry were (from the left in the photo) Rev. Richard Whitney, Class of 1952, former staff member of the Penn Central Conference of the UCC in Harrisburg, and Rev. Kimberly Black, Class of 2005, of Ochsner Health System's Multi-Organ Transplant Institute, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Receiving the Allen S. Meck Award for distinguished service in pastoral ministry were Rev. Dr. Lynn Martin, Class of 1983, of St. Lucas UCC, Evansville, Indiana, and Rev. Ronnette Comfort-Butler, Class of 2008, of Maytown Reformed UCC, Maytown, Pennsylvania.
