Restorative Justice - Film & Discussion

Posted: Sep 17, 2018

Friday night, Sept. 28, we're opening our class Church & Social Change to the public for a special viewing of the award-winning film Milwaukee 53206. Join us at 7:00 p.m. in hafer Center, on the second floor of the Schaff Library on the Lancaster Seminary campus.

Adjunct instructor Melanie Snyder and Dr. Harold Dean "Doc" Trulear are co-teaching the course on mass incarceration and reentry. The film is part of the course, followed by a panel discussion with local returning citizens and prisoner reentry experts. There is no charge to attend. A free-will offering will be taken for the local nonprofit RMO for Returning Citizens, Lancaster County’s prisoner reentry coalition.

Seating is limited and registration is recommended at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3599123.
